This Odd House May Look Tiny, But Wait Til You See The Insane Interior

You don't have to live in a big house to live big. In fact, you can have a great time in even a 594 sq. ft. abode--at least if Mizuishi Architects Atelier is behind it. The Japanese firm simply knows how to make the most out of even the most limited space. If they can't do it to, no one can.

Sure, this house looks small, but it's not that tiny.

Hm, okay, it's pretty small.

594 sq. ft., to be exact.

The house is located in Niigata, Japan, and has more space than you could imagine when you look at its exterior. I mean, this is only the attic.

A view from the bed, which looks like it's at least king-size. Not bad.

The house was designed by Mizuishi Architects Atelier, who have had great success creating tiny houses fit for big living.

The house does get rather narrow, but it culminates in a beautiful view of the river.

Even the bathroom is humongous.

Is the inside of this house some sort of wormhole-like thing that just defies physics?

Probably not, but that's the mark of a great architect.

Plenty of space for the whole family.

You can't beat that location. Less really is more.

It's amazing how they can fit such an incredible interior into what looks like a sliver of space. From the outside, this place looks big enough to maybe fit a bathroom and a vending machine. I guess you can't judge a house by its exterior.
