It Doesn't Matter Where These Pretty Stairs Lead...The Journey Will Be Amazing

Whether you want to admit to it or not, let's be real: street art usually improves the appearance of things. We're not talking about simple tags, we're talking about carefully designed pieces of art that appear on walls in cities around the world. Of course, street art, by nature of it's think-outside-the-box character, is not confined to just walls.
These public staircases from around the world sport their own artwork. They've been painted and decorated to be large-scale images as well as abstract pops of color. Some were created by individual artists, but many were community projects that saw locals coming together to make their city a little more magical.

These decorated stairs show that with a little flair, even the most overlooked, everyday items and places can have stunning beauty. They're so lovely that it almost doesn't matter where they lead, and they certainly make the prospect of climbing stairs a bit more pleasant!
